Rod is a 1973 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering. For over 35 years he has been responsible for preliminary studies, cost estimates, design, project management, and inspection of various municipal projects including water, sewers, streets, sidewalks, drainage, curbs and gutters, stormwater management programs, feasibility studies, mergers, PSC Rate Adjustment Cases, etc.

He has had overall responsibilities for all types of land surveying. Surveying services include topographic surveys; ALTA surveys; complete layout and grading of commercial and residential buildings with walks, site drives, etc.; subdivisions of property including planning, design and layout of streets, curbs, gutters, water, sewers, storm drainage, and GPS mapping.

He is quite knowledgeable with respect to current engineering technology, surveying standards and continues to keep up to date with the latest digital and software technology relating to the practice of engineering and land surveying.
