Stephen is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a B.S. Degree in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Systems (Minor in City Planning) and is a Kentucky Professional Land Surveyor. His responsibilities include:

• Performing all aspects of land surveying under the direct supervision of the Professional Land Surveyor.

• Obtaining deed information for surveys and right-of-way maps.

• Coordinating and developing efforts to obtain base maps and GIS information.

• Coordinating GIS and mapping data for cities and counties.

Additionally, he has worked on numerous state loan and grant projects for water, wastewater, parks, etc. and has a good working knowledge of state and local policies and procedures. He has worked with many local and state agencies and is familiar with and has worked with personnel at all Area Development Districts in Western Kentucky.

In addition to his surveying and engineering duties, Stephen also serves as our in-house server and network administrator. His duties include all network maintenance and troubleshooting; client computer upgrades and maintenance; e-mail and file server maintenance and troubleshooting; software installation and upgrades, including utility billing software; and all other information technology related areas. In addition to in-house support, he also assists clients outside our office with many of the same issues we encounter in-house; ranging from networking and computer upgrades to telemetry controls and GPS assistance.
